Hello Everyone!
We’re happy to release a new version of our provengo
tool. This version has some new features, some revamped features based on user feedback (you know who you are, and we know you’ll enjoy the new REST automation library). So without further ado, here are the notable features:
- EventCategory is a new library that helps create models faster, and also makes them look nice (these are the dark nodes in the diagram above). Take is for a spin.
- Revamped REST/HTTP library, now with modernized command structure, support for runtime variables, default parameters, and more.
- New visualizers for REST/HTTP and Runtime values. See above diagram for a taste.
- Forgot to
//@provengo summon
a library? Provengo’s new auto-summon feature will summon it for you if you want. - Improved default manual test book template – handles JavaScript objects better, and generates better HTML.
- Improved warnings and error messages.
- Pre/Post scripts execution is more robust.
- Action logging is more resilient, especially when dealing with HTTP responses on the peskier end of the scale.
- By popular demand – we’re adding examples to the reference documentation. These will be gradually rolling out during the next few weeks, but some libraries already have them.
Get your copy from our downloads section. Install manually or use our install packages (.rpm/.deb/.msi)*.
Happy spec/testing!
